A Look At The Alice McCall Resort 2022 Show
It is of no news to anyone that colour is coming back with many designers taking their inspirations from the 1970s and 90s. After over a year of global pain, we are all in desperate need of some bright and funky fashion designs, and Alice McCall answered our calls with her Resort 2022 collection shown at the Australian Fashion Week last week.
For those unaware, a resort collection is an inter-season collection that generally has a holiday or travel theme. They are becoming more and more popular in recent years.
The designs are bright, commanding your attention without being garish. The silhouettes are classic and yet feel brand new. The colour story and patterns are distinctly vintage, echoing our minds to the disco years of the 1970s, but they do so without looking costume-like. They are a modern take on the past and perfect for those wanting to look confident, sexy and feminine this summer season.
